Sin embargo, despu\u00e9s de los 40 a\u00f1os, surge una nueva<br>motivaci\u00f3n: mantenerse activo, independiente y con buena calidad de vida a largo plazo.<br>En este escenario, las articulaciones cobran un rol fundamental. Dolor de rodillas, rigidez<br>al levantarse, molestias de espalda o lesiones que tardan m\u00e1s en recuperarse son<br>se\u00f1ales frecuentes en personas que comienzan a experimentar cambios naturales<br>asociados al paso del tiempo.<br>Josu\u00e9 Prieto, kinesi\u00f3logo deportivo de Sportlife, explica que uno de los cambios m\u00e1s<br>notorios despu\u00e9s de los 40 a\u00f1os es la disminuci\u00f3n de la movilidad y de la capacidad de<br>recuperaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cLo que m\u00e1s se observa es una mayor rigidez articular, menor movilidad y una<br>recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s lenta despu\u00e9s del ejercicio o actividades intensas. Tambi\u00e9n puede<br>haber una disminuci\u00f3n de fuerza muscular\u201d, se\u00f1ala.<br>El mito del desgaste articular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Existe la creencia de que hacer ejercicio termina da\u00f1ando las articulaciones, pero la<br>evidencia demuestra lo contrario.<br>\u201cEl ejercicio bien planificado ayuda a mantener articulaciones saludables. Lo que genera<br>desgaste es entrenar con mala t\u00e9cnica, exceso de carga, no respetar los tiempos de<br>recuperaci\u00f3n o ignorar molestias preexistentes\u201d, explica el especialista.<br>A medida que pasan los a\u00f1os, tejidos como tendones, ligamentos y cart\u00edlagos requieren<br>m\u00e1s tiempo para recuperarse. Por eso, intentar entrenar igual que a los 20 suele ser uno<br>de los errores m\u00e1s frecuentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>La importancia de la masa muscular:<br>Cuando se habla de salud articular, muchas personas piensan solo en huesos o<br>cart\u00edlagos, pero el sistema muscular cumple un rol clave.<br>\u201cLa masa muscular es una inversi\u00f3n para el futuro. Mientras m\u00e1s logremos conservar,<br>mejor ser\u00e1 nuestra calidad de vida e independencia durante la vejez\u201d, afirma Prieto.<br>El entrenamiento de fuerza no solo fortalece m\u00fasculos, tambi\u00e9n ayuda a mantener la<br>densidad \u00f3sea, aspecto fundamental para prevenir fragilidad y osteoporosis en etapas<br>posteriores de la vida. Hoy es reconocido como una de las herramientas m\u00e1s efectivas<br>para envejecer de forma saludable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No se trata de entrenar m\u00e1s, sino mejor<br>La recomendaci\u00f3n de los especialistas es avanzar progresivamente, incorporar ejercicios<br>de movilidad, fortalecer el CORE, trabajar fuerza en los principales grupos musculares e<br>incluir actividad cardiovascular de bajo impacto, como caminatas, bicicleta o nataci\u00f3n.<br>Contar con orientaci\u00f3n profesional permite ajustar cargas, corregir movimientos y evitar<br>errores frecuentes como aumentar intensidades demasiado r\u00e1pido, omitir calentamiento o<br>ignorar se\u00f1ales del cuerpo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>El kinesi\u00f3logo entrega una recomendaci\u00f3n clara:<br>\u201cPiensa a largo plazo. Ve el ejercicio m\u00e1s por salud que por apariencia y construye un<br>h\u00e1bito que te permita llegar a los 60 a\u00f1os con buena salud muscular y \u00f3sea\u201d.<br>Hoy, con una expectativa de vida cada vez mayor, llegar a la madurez con autonom\u00eda,<br>movilidad y energ\u00eda depende en gran parte de las decisiones que tomamos ahora.
